FAQ: 85th Annual Session of the Indian Roads Congress

The 85th Annual Session of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC) is a national-level event that brings together engineers, policymakers, academicians, and industry experts to discuss innovations in road construction, transportation, and infrastructure development. It will be held in HITEX, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Government engineers, academicians, researchers, representatives of public and private organizations, students, and international delegates can participate. The event is open to all registered IRC members and invitees.

Visit the Registration page on the website. You can register either online or offline. After filling out the registration form, pay the required fee according to your category. Don't forget to upload or bring your ID proof to the venue for confirmation.

Fees vary based on delegate type — Government Officials, Private Sector Representatives, Faculty Members, Students, or Foreign Delegates. The detailed fee structure is displayed on the Registration page for both "Self" and "Spouse."

Accommodation details are available under the Accommodation section. Delegates can book online or offline as per their designation. Rooms will be available from 12 noon on 18th November, 2026 till forenoon 22nd November, 2026. Early booking is recommended.

Registration includes a conference kit, lunch, dinner and refreshments during the session. For student registration, valid student ID proof must be presented at the venue. Accommodation includes comfortable facilities with options for single or double occupancy, depending on the delegate's category.

After the main session, delegates and accompanying persons can enjoy Post Session Tours to popular Telangana attractions such as Charminar, Golconda Fort, Ramoji Film City, and Hussain Sagar. Tours are available as one-day or 1N/2D experiences, with AC transport, food, and guide services included. Details and booking options are available under the Post Session Tours section.

Companies or organizations can book stalls through the Exhibition page. You can view the Venue Layout, Stall Layout, and Open-to-Sky Layout, and download the Exhibition Form to reserve your space.

All relevant forms — such as the Registration Form, Accommodation Form, and Exhibition Form — are available on their respective webpages and can also be accessed from the Downloads section in the footer.

If your payment through SBI fails, don't worry. Here's what to do:

  1. Wait for a few minutes: Payments sometimes take 5–10 minutes to update. Please check your email or SMS for any confirmation message from SBI.
  2. Do not pay again immediately: First, check your bank or card statement to see if the amount was deducted.
  3. If the amount was deducted but booking was not confirmed: Send the following details to accommodation@85irctelangana.com:
    • Name of the delegate
    • Membership number
    • Registered mobile number and email
    • Transaction ID (if available)
    • Screenshot or proof of payment deduction
    Our team will verify the payment with SBI and confirm your booking manually within two working days.
  4. If payment was not deducted: You can safely try booking again after refreshing the page or using a stable internet connection.

Each department has dedicated contact numbers to ensure a quick response and proper support. During the event days, a Help Desk will be available at the venue for on-the-spot assistance, and a Medical Support Desk will also be present to handle any health-related emergencies immediately.
